About Us

Acorn Day Nursery was opened by Gillian Stewart RGN, RSCN in 1992 and offers full and part time care for children from 6 weeks to 5 years.

Set in the countryside just outside St.Andrews, Acorn offers a safe and stimulating environment for your child to blossom.

We have a full team of qualified Early Years Officers and run our nursery on high staff ratios.
We offer a full range of actoivities throughout the day with a huge emphasis on outdoor play, where we make full use of the wonderful rural surroundings and allow the children to enjoy a healthy, open air curriculum.
 
We are open 51 weeks of the year, closing only at Christmas time.
