FAQ

How does your billing work?

Acorn Day Nursery have invested in the software Cheqdin to help make our parents invoicing and nursery experience as stress free as possible. Cheqdin will send you a monthly bill on 1st of every month via email where you can set up a direct debit using the details from your first invoice. To keep payments simple Acorn will bill you in equal monthly instalments across 51 weeks of the year so you don’t have to keep changing the amount you pay each month. Please note we no longer accept cash payments. Check out the National Savings Account to help reduce your fees. [link: https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare]

Do you accept childcare vouchers?

Yes, we accept most voucher schemes. Please do not hesitate to contact us to double check if you cannot find us.

Can I attend multiple nurseries, including Acorn?

Yes. We can work with you to make sure you are able to split your nursery funding across each nursery and ensure we provide the best care for your child.

I work shifts, how does this work?

Currently, we do need consistent days to be booked weekly. For example, a constant Monday and Friday. We do offer shift workers the option to book ad-hoc sessions depending on availability, but we cannot guarantee these days will be available and recommend booking regular weekly sessions to ensure your child has a space each week throughout the year.

Are meals are included in the cost, and if so, what do you provide?

Acorn offer a morning snack at 10am, lunch at 12pm and snack in the afternoon at 3pm all prepared and cooked on the day by our own qualified chef. We cater for all dietary and cultural needs.
